Call for grants in the Valencian Community
With a budget of five million euros, the Department of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment of the Generalitat Valenciana, through the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Inclusion, has opened a new line of aid for municipalities of the region. The objective is to finance the organization of extracurricular and complementary activities between July 2025 and June 2026, aimed at minors 3 to 18 years.
Activities eligible for funding include options educational, sports and cultural, designed for both the school year and periods of reduced hours and school holidays. In Castilla y León, the Board has promoted the so-called 'Children's Bonus', a benefit 200 euros per child aimed at families with minors 4 to 12 years to cover any type of extracurricular activity carried out outside of school hours. It is estimated that the measure will benefit 80.000 families throughout the community, with an initial budget of 16 millones de euros expandable depending on demand.
The access requirements are because the parents are working and do not exceed 55.000 euros of family income (half in the case of single-parent families).
