An Outstanding Academic Career
Esteban Anchústegui has more than four decades dedicated to teaching, primarily at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where he is a Full Professor of Political Philosophy. His experience spans both secondary and university education, having led doctoral programs such as "Current Problems in Philosophy" and "Culture and Society" for over a decade.
In the field of research, Anchústegui has directed 24 doctoral theses (many of them internationally recognized) and supervised more than 60 master's degree final projects and research qualifications. He has also participated in numerous research projects and is currently a member of the Basque Government's Biography & Parliaments research group.
