September marks an effervescent start for the chamber music with new appointments spread across the map: Barcelona, Valencia, Bizkaia, Valladolid and Madrid They activate seasons and cycles with carefully curated repertoires, renowned artists, and venues steeped in history.
From new-generation festivals to established programs, the public will find Free concerts, discounted subscriptions and guided tours, as well as a selection of works that travel from classicism to the 20th century. Sant Pau Chamber Music Festival (Barcelona)
The first edition of the Sant Pau International Chamber Music Festival will be held September 16st – 20th at the Sant Pau Modernist Enclosure, iconic hospital complex in Barcelona recognized as UNESCO World Heritage.
With a format of artistic residency, the meeting brings together names of international projection that will build programs interconnected in five concerts. Among the performers are Maria Florea y Daishin Kashimoto (violin), Joaquín Riquelme (viola), Alexander Chaushian y Jing Zhao (cello), Lucas Macías (oboe), Vicente Alberola (clarinet) and Uxía Martínez (double bass).
The repertoire will focus on great pages of the genre: piano quintets by Dvořák, Brahms, Franck and Mozart; the Brahms' Horn Trio, Op. 40; the Piano Quintet, Op. 57, by Shostakovich; the Piano quartet by Mahler and chamber versions of Petrushka (Stravinsky) and Romeo and Juliet (Prokofiev).
The artistic direction is in charge of the violist and producer David Abrahamyan. All information about programs, artists and tickets is available on the official channels of the festival.
València: FSMCV cycle at the Alquería Julià-Casa de la Música
La Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV) activates the third installment of its chamber cycle from September 6 to December 27, with concerts Saturdays at 12:00 p.m. in the Julià Farmhouse. The entrance is free until full capacity and offers a prior guided tour to this 17th-century heritage gem.

The cycle includes two performances of private character (15/11, Rocafort Musical Group; 13/12, AMSCD Carolinas de Alicante) and was born with the aim of promoting the chamber repertoire, facilitate stage experience and project the groups from a emblematic space like the House of Music.
Bizkaia: “Eleizetan” in Amorebieta-Etxano
The cycle Eleizetan back September 6st – 21th six free concerts in churches and hermitages of Amorebieta-Etxano: San Miguel de Dudea, San Pedro de Boroa, San Miguel de Bernagoitia, San Juan Bautista de Larrea, Andra Mari de Etxano and Andra Mari de Amorebieta. There will be free bus service before each performance.

Valladolid: IV Cycle of Recitals and Chamber Music (CCMD & CNDM)
The Miguel Delibes Cultural Center and the CNDM They present a season with ten concerts across september and may, conceived to bring classical music to all audiences through high artistic quality and variety of repertoires.

Last season's prices are maintained with season tickets between 112 and 150 euros (discounts greater than 40% for subscribers of the OSCyL) and reduced rates for older than 65, unemployed, people with disabilities, large families and under 30. Fertilizers are sold from September 5 to 13; single tickets between 15 and 20 euros (music students from Castilla y León, 3 Euros the same day of the concert).
Madrid: "Salón del Ateneo" cycle and the Fortuny Trio
The cycle Ateneo Hall, organized by TALA Productions, comes back with nine concerts between September 27 and the 20 June in the historical Athenaeum of Madrid, with the focus on the current creation in dialogue with recent repertoires.
Among the proposals stands out "Melodies of Resistance" of the Fortuny Trio (Joel Bardolet, Pau Codina and Marc Heredia), with the Trio Op. 39 by Salvador Brotons and the Trios No. 1 and No. 2 by Shostakovich, a tribute to the composer on the 50th anniversary of his death.
The season, conceived for a close format and of high artistic demand, offers available subscriptions until the September 28 and maintains the vocation of converting the University in a stable space for chamber music.
With settings of high heritage value, free entry in several cycles and an offer that combines international references with local talent, this new batch of programming consolidates chamber music as one of the major cultural events of the season in Spain.
